We can develop your occupational health and safety program for any industry in BC. You name it - we can build it! Does my safety manual template need to be updated every year?
No. Your health and safety manual will only need to be updated if there has been a major ohs regulation change in your province - for a particular topic. Regulation changes do not happen as often as you may think. You may not see any major regulation changes for many-many years (10+ years). However, if for any reason there is a major regulation change in your province - and one of your manual policies will require an edit - our team will email you many months ahead to give you a heads up! We will send you the new regulation requirements and editing your manual will only take a few minutes.

If your business does not have these minimum legal requirements in place, while operating as a business in your province, you run the legal risk of being fined, penalized, sanctioned or have stop work orders put towards your business by local government officers. Having a health and safety program for your employees is the LAW in Canada and it is your legal responsibility to ensure it is in place and implemented for your employees. These templates are editable - so you can add content to it at any time (if needed) or you can contact us in the future and we can add additional policies or procedures - at any time - for an additional cost.

Are your health and safety programs built for current provincial OHS regulations?
Yes. Whether we build you a custom safety program for COR ISN Avetta or whether you purchase our safety manual templates for basic compliance, all our health and safety manuals are designed and built to meet with current provincial occupational health and safety regulations (BC, Alberta, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, Nova Scotia or New Brunswick).

What if your safety manual template has a policy in it that does not apply to my business, can your template still work for my business?
Absolutely! If for any reason our template has a policy within it that does not apply to your business, simply delete it from your manual. Once you have deleted the policy, simply update your table of contents (we have provided you with instructions on how to do so) . For example, a Joint Health and Safety Committee is only required in certain provinces when you reach a certain amount of employees employed within your business. If you have less than 10 employees let's say for Saskatchewan or less than 20 employees for BC, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario; then by regulation you will not need a JHSC committee or this policy within your manual, so simply delete it from your manual. It's that easy.
