- This course is conducted by a real instructor via the ZOOM VIRTUAL training. We do not provide on-site/in-person training.
This Course will  be scheduled for 4 hours.
- Each participant can have access to their own computer or you can place the students in classroom and project us from a TV setup.
- You will receive all course study material prior to the course by email once you schedule the course. 
​- Certificates will be issued to each student after the course by email.
- Cancellation policy requires a 3 business day ahead notice for a full refund. Cancellation within the 3 day period prior to the course will result in a fee to your company in order to compensate for the instructors loss of time. Payment for each course must be made prior to the course date by invoice or credit card payment.

Under WorkSafeBC Regulation, a supervisor is defined as a person who instructs, directs or controls workers in the safe performance of their duties. As a supervisor, you are responsible for the proper instruction of workers under your direct control, and for ensuring their work is performed without undue risk. Due diligence means that you take all reasonable care in all the circumstances in your workplace to protect the health and safety of your workers and to prevent an occurrence or event.

At the conclusion of this half-day course, the supervisor will:

• Understand the term “Due Diligence”
• Be knowledgeable about legal responsibilities as a supervisor
• Be able to give specific examples of due diligence in the workplace

​Supervisors play an important role in promoting and maintaining workplace safety. Their words and actions demonstrate how they view and value health and safety. The supervisor's attitude influences how workers approach and practice safety on the job; to them the supervisor's attitude reflects the company's values. A supervisor is anyone who instructs, directs, and controls workers as they carry out their work tasks. This could include owners, managers, superintendents, charge hands, lead hands, foremen, department heads, journeymen, and trainers. Supervisors are well-positioned to be safety champions. Effective supervisors are intentional and purposeful in promoting health and safety. They should perform regular safety activities, such as safety inspections, observations, accident and incident investigations, or crew safety talks. Other activities may be linked to annual departmental safety plans.

Due Diligence is taking all reasonable care to protect the well-being of employees and co-workers. Employers and Supervisors in BC have certain health and safety responsibilities in the workplace to ensure the health and safety of their employees. Our online supervisor safety due diligence training course will cover regulatory requirements for employers, supervisors and employees. You are able to download and print your certificate of completion immediately after completing the course. There is no expiry to our supervisor due diligence training certification.
